I’ve heard feedback from so many people, it became almost unavoidable. Everyone wants to take Pods further, for new solutions to even newer problems. Page Builder integrations, Form integrations, and even more content tools — it’s totally within the wheelhouse of Pods to do these things well. It is also something that really can’t live in Pods itself. Those things are just some of the many areas that Pods Pro will explore.

Well technically, Scott Kingsley Clark (me) is the lead developer of Pods. But Pods is maintained and supported by the loving infrastructure of the Pods Foundation. That focus really must remain on Pods itself, without which none of this is possible.

The Pods Pro solution is going to be separate from that so as to not syphon funding away from the long term goals of Pods.

No, you will still need to have Pods installed and activated. Pods Pro is also not just one add-on! There’s going to be a whole line of add-ons available for you to choose from to fit your needs.

Friends of Pods is here to stay. It will continue to fundraise and take in donations so that the Pods project can grow and live a long and fruitful life for all of us to enjoy. Our hope is that many new friends will take advantage of the discounted Pods Pro pricing as Pods Pro builds out specific features to meet their needs.

Yes, Pods Pro will be available at a discount if you become an Active Friend of Pods. That’s right! Because there’s always a way to give back to Pods and support Pods Pro at the same time, you won’t have to pick one or the other. Just become an Active Friend of Pods and claim the reward on the Friends site. It will send you to a special Pods Pro URL with Friends-exclusive discounted pricing.

If you don’t see your discount, try entering your Friends email as your coupon code to see some really cool auto-discount action happen.

Please note -- if you use a different email when you sign up for Pods Pro than you use on your Friends of Pods account, there may be a Pods Pro order rejection/refund in certain circumstances.

This is still new ground, I don’t think this has been done before to the extent Pods Pro works. Just be a Friend of Pods with $60+ in donations in the past 12 months and you’ll get access to this deal. For donors prior to November 1st, 2020, this calculation will be $60+ in lifetime donations.

You’ll get a $64 discount on whatever Pods Pro license you pick. That’s 81% off, just by being a Friend of Pods. And remember, being a Friend keeps Pods itself alive — so take advantage of this super generous offer.

When it comes time for renewal, you’ll continue to get the same discount. However, if you go more than 12 months without an eligible Friend of Pods account associated, your discount will expire and you’ll get an email letting you know that your next renewal will be full price. It’s easy enough to fix that if you become an Active Friend of Pods again, so no worries there!

If that fails, you can also enter your Friends of Pods donor account e-mail address into the Discount Code field when you get to the Pods Pro checkout page.

You can always purchase Pods Pro at full price and avoid the hoops, but I really do hope you’ll consider all of the benefits of being a Friend of Pods gives you as you are supporting not just Pods Pro but Pods itself directly.

Basic Packs provide access to a select number of Add-Ons while the Pods Packs provide access to all Basic Add-Ons as well as the extended Pro Add-Ons.

You'll get access to all of the add-ons available for that pass, so as more are added to that pass you'll get access to them right away. Depending on the pass you choose, you'll be limited to one site or unlimited sites. Choose wisely, as an upgrade later may not be prorated.

Support and updates will be available for 1 year while your pass is active. Upon renewal, your access will be retained for another year and so on.

If you cancel your pass or it fails to renew on your chosen payment method, access to support and updates will be unavailable. Don't worry, you can always start the pass again when you're ready to get access again.

Pods Pro Pack Passes have a 30-day refund policy.

If you want to cancel your pass and get a full refund of your purchase, make a request from the support page of your Pods Pro account area.

If you bought a Pods Pro Pack pass at full price but you become a Friend of Pods, I will refund you the special Friends of Pods discount portion. Just contact me through the support page of your Pods Pro account area and I can get that going. Be sure to include what your Friends of Pods email address is so I can verify it.
